In my younger years I swam in a swimming club and competed in competitions. Also in my teens I taught swimming lessons to children in what used to be called back then Herald Learn to Swim.

My favourite stroke to teach would be survival backstroke.

I was encouraged to be a swim teacher due to my sports and swimming background. My love of children and watching their growth and development were also factors in the decision.

This is my fourth year teaching, as I started in high school and have continued as I study.

My favourite stroke to teach is definitely backstroke, as it was my specialty when I was swimming.

I love working at Peninsula Swim School because of our positive work environment and all of the great people I get to see every day.

I’ve been teaching for around four years.

My favorite stroke to teach is freestyle because it’s the essential foundation of swimming.
